Why it won’t work and why that doesn’t matter

As I was watching the Gaza war unfold, I was listening to various commentators arguing for the two-state solution, almost invariably saying that it is what they would like to see, but, of course, it wouldn’t work.

never failed to make this point on the subject.
(Just between us, I still cannot understand how can somebody so smart say something so stupid…)
Why would he call it a solution, I asked myself, if it cannot work?
Not working is what we already have. It is like putting a square peg into a round hole. And that is supposed to be the solution? Why isn’t he seeking an ACTUAL solution?
The problem with Israel is the coexistence of two incompatible group of people, one of which vehemently hates the other.

Mershaimer’s logic can easily be applied to the American culture war..
Ever since the internet came of age, or maybe even since the fall of communism, the most often used electoral slogans are calls for national unity. A reconciliation or compromise of our different ideas about politics. But a look at the map meme above clearly shows the problem.
It is an illustration of how the blue people see the red people. The inhabitants of Dumbfuckistan are the basket of deplorables. You know, the “racists, sexists, misogynists, xenophobes homophobes, islamophobes, you name it.”

This chart shows the same map broken down to the county level. A low-res version of it came with the astute observation: There are no blue states, just blue cities.

I wrote a few posts (linked at the end) to show the differences between the left and the right, the brainwashed and the dumbfucks. The problem is simple: we live on different planes of existence, we see the world not just differently, but in different terms. Here is the short version:
The left sees the world through the lenses of emotions, wishes, desires, entitlements, will, political power and collectivism.
The right sees the same world through the lenses of reason, goals, tasks, responsibilities, obligations, competence hierarchies and individualism.
These differences lead to conflicting ideas about politics and policies.
Socialists have always been free to establish little socialist utopias. They just never work. No communist utopia ever did. But it is a great racket as long as your neighbour has more than you do. Politicians will always be ready to rob them for your benefit for a small compensation like your vote.

Calling you names is how they justify the robbery. They have to convince themselves that the robbery is a moral act. That is why they are getting so hysterical when you question their morality. Their morality should be taken for granted, just as they take your stupidity for granted.

Would they really want to separate?

Technically, we could separate. We already have a natural migration going on from the blue states. The division is already on its way of getting more entrenched.
Both red and blue are getting redder and bluer.
I would not venture to guess what the left would want exactly, but coexistence is not impossible.

The main reason why we cannot separate is simple: the left cannot live without the right.
The denizens of Dumbfuckistan would be perfectly happy on their own, but the left cannot possibly survive without the right.
They are nothing without those dumbfucks who actually make things, grow food, build their houses and fix their toilets when they are broken.
Socialism is a fundamentally parasitic ideology. Deep down, democrats know that. Blood-suckers do understand their need for hosts with some blood in them.
They would never agree to a separation.

The contempt, the derision and the condescending arrogance so perfectly expressed in the Dumbfuckistan meme is all-pervasive.
What is most amazing is the forgiving patience with which the dumbfucks are taking the abuse. All they are insisting on is the right to MAKE some money before half of it is taken away from them.

Why it doesn’t matter

Other people’s money is not the only thing socialists are running out of. They are running out of themselves.

It is reasonable to suspect, that if we had a county level break-down as with the votes above, the picture would be even worse.

As the left is getting more radical, they will out-rainbow, out-trans, out-feminize, out-single, out-age, out-abort and out-left-swipe themselves from the reproductive market. Hypergamy is a bitch (pun intended).
We can celebrate the alternative lifestyles all we want, but not without acknowledging that they are not particularly conducive to sustainable demographics.

We are facing a massive demographic crisis. Even the highest fertility state in the list above is below replacement level. We are screwed already, but reality eventually will present some answers. One possible solution is that the dwindling away of the left will result in an increased prominence of rational ideas.

The slow death of the mainstream media is already creating a distributed information landscape. Like this post, and platforms like Substack in general. The shifting of the cultural landscape is already happening.

My advice to the overly emotional, overeducated (i.e.: brainwashed) sh*theads is this:
get used to it, because:

The dumbfucks shall inherit the world

It is inevitable. You and your ideas are not sustainable.
