Personal
My Substack find of the week:
is offering a perspective for her readers:You Don't Have To Choose Between Happiness And Being Informed.
I can relate in more ways than I can say.I am constantly questioning the kind of writing I am doing and how it reflects on me.
I am an incurable optimist, fundamentally positive and always looking for common grounds. Yet, you would not guess this from my writing. No matter how many personal references I make in a blog with a tag line “politics is personal”, it isn’t really personal. It is about politics. Sometimes I wonder whether I should also write about my love for physical activities, of music, traveling and nature.
But “this ain’t that kind of blog.” In this respect, I see the world the same way Caitlin does: you cannot be truly happy on the blue pill. Trying to hide from what’s going on around you cannot lead to happiness either. You have to swallow the red pill, face reality and find your happiness in creating your independence from it.

This excellent piece from @Eugyppius is just another example of the globalist nature of what may seem to the affected as just another local political insanity.
