What about MY feelings?

Pity, disgust, contempt and anger

The pictures above are of Rikkie Valerie Kollé and Nathalie Mogbelzada; the winner and the runner-up of the Miss Universe Netherland 2023 beauty pageant.

Let me translate the answer to the “which one would you choose” question:
“The happy person”
Me: “This is not an answer, just virtue-signaling.
Which one appears to be happier, more in peace and harmony with herself?
Answer: “The first one is happy, the second wants something.”

I was stunned by the multi-layered sleaziness' of the answer, but still stuck in a comment saying that “it was a beauty pageant, not a confirmation-fest” at which point she deleted the comment thread.

The exchange made me examine my feelings. Not only about my correspondent and her virtue signaling deflection, but about the issue itself.
Some may find it difficult to believe, but even libertarian conservatives have them. Feelings, that is.

But let me start with stating the obvious:
There is no universe in which a healthy straight male would choose the bucktooth tranny over the stunning beauty to go on a date with.
That is just what I believe, but if you see it otherwise just let me know, so that I can put you in the woke liars’ group in my address book. Don’t worry, you will not be alone there. The point is: I will not believe you.

Pity

…is my first reaction. I feel sorry for the tranny, I feel sorry for the world where this can happen, where delusions and lies can trump reality.
Looking at ‘her’ I really do. I believe that deep down they all know that it is just a farce, they all know that it is a lie, but they also have the desperate belief, that if they can seduce, bullsh*t, cajole or coerce enough people into accepting the lie, it will miraculously become the truth.
And that, above all else, is pitiful.

Disgust

I am disgusted by the ideologs and their attitude that makes it happen. They know that they are lying, they know that we know that they are lying and they still keep lying. My interlocutor honestly believes to be not only morally superior, but also that the virtue signaling is a moral obligation. She is standing up with her tribe against the intolerant brutes like myself.

There is a certain dare in the lie: “Dare to disagree and we will malign and vilify you. Dare to oppose us and we will destroy you. We represent the future; we are on the right side of history. We understand and live by the message of our prophet who said that there is no need to understand reality, all we need is to shape it to our will.”

Anger

I am angry with myself.
I am angry with the world that is forcing me into compliance and acquiescence about the lies. I am angry for not being more vocal, more rebellious about the lies.
As I said elsewhere, I do not particularly care about the issue, but I do care about being expected and compelled to lie.
I do care about my interlocutor’s expectation to accept the lie. It makes me angry that I hold myself back from explaining to her how her position is deeply immoral and fundamentally dishonest. Having good reasons for holding back do not help the anger. If anything, it makes it worse. (If you want to know my reasons, ask me in the comments!)

I am angry for the victims.
I could provide here a long list of references to show how harmful it all is.
Chronic illnesses, elevated suicide rates, poverty and a generally shortened life expectancy. And this is still saying nothing about the loss of the potential for a normal life. Living with the lie eventually gets to them.
The argument from the likes of my interlocutor is that the joy of the gender self-realization is worth the cost. What angers me, is that in some places (like Canada, where I live) it is outright illegal to even explain the potential costs and dangers to a wannabe other-genderer.

I am angry with the soul and spineless criminals;
the perpetrators of the atrocious mutilations of healthy humans for profit. I am angry with the whole (also very profitable) ‘gender affirming care’ industry. They are the ones who are perfectly positioned to fully understand the harm that they are causing, yet they are still doing it either for profit or for ideology.
It could be argued that the ideology isn’t just Marxism (reality is what we will it to be) but the far more sinister idea of depopulation; the removal of people from the reproductive pool.  
That idea moves them from the Dr. Frankenstein club – which is bad enough – into the Dr Mengele club.

Contempt

While I feel mostly sorry for the mentally ill, there is one category of the transgender I feel nothing but contempt for: the cheaters. The opportunistic, shameless cheaters like this one:

The ones that are exploiting the collective delusion for an unearned advantage. The ones that beat up women in martial art competitions, the ones that out-swim, out-run and out-compete the weaker sex with their natural, biological advantage. The rapists who get transferred to female prisons. The pedophiles exposing themselves to children.
Which, in turn, makes me angry again with the world that allows this to happen.

I am angry about the politics that forces me into compliance and even forces me subsidize these crimes against humanity.

A civilization divorced from reality does not deserve to live.

I live in this civilization, and if it goes down, I will go down with it. Along with my family, my children and grandchildren. How should that make me feel? In a world that cares so much about the feelings of some of its members that it is willing to spend up to $500,000 to accommodate their delusions, who cares about MY feelings and concerns? I don’t think my interlocutor does.
