If only it was that simple!

But I get your point. I was watching with incredulous amazement their Covid response.

I still do not understand what made them the most compliant of all.

The first reaction to my last post was this comment from a personal friend:

“I would be pleased to comment on this topic [….] but not on a wide-open posting platform.

[…] There are those "woke" individuals who troll for any possible comments by politicians to use to ramp up public backlash and to demand that person's resignation over what is a personal viewpoint.

I won't subject my excellent public service record to such blatant cancel-culture keyboard warriors. […]"

The second reaction was a subscription cancellation.

Where do you stand, if you dare to stand up?

Are we already at communist levels of self-censorship?

Dear Zork,

This is a long, painful problem I am afraid without solution. Your suggestion is very sincere and touching. But. I don’t think the world is ready now for a ‘from river to the sea’ Jewish state. Especially now with the vitriolic antisemitism everywhere in the Western world. Jews can’t even be victims if they are raped, killed, taken hostage. The world does not accept jewish suffering and victimhood. You know what, I am also fed up with victimhood status. The problem with October 7th was, that shattered the false beliefs that Jews can live safe side by side with the arabs in their own country. They can’t. How do you envision the arab and gazafrei ‘from the river to the sea’ Israel? It sounds attractive for me. Who will enforce it? The Palestinians are not welcome even in the neighbouring arab countries, because they are afraid of them. In Egyipt the Muslim Brotherhood caused mayhem, In Jordan only the Queen, Rania who is palestin origin, stands on their side, but the rest is afraid from them. Where will they have to go? Canada? Russia?

In my humble opinion the status quo is the only livable solution. Maybe I am mistaken.

(Zork, would like to talk to you when possible. I won’t be here for two weeks, when I come back I call you. Please let me know.)

Thank you,

Judit

So your solution is ethnic cleansing...

To act so smug when your 'solution' basically amounts to what has already been in place for the last 75 years, just on a faster timeline and with a 'humane' tagline, is a level of narcissistic stupidity only rivalled by the naievity required to think that the levels of violence we're seeing today would not be exarcerbated tenfold by the forced expulsion of two million people. You really think monetary compensation is going to convince people to leave their home? Would it convince you?

Of course it would. The only question is the amount. Why is it OK for the 'Palestinians' to say 'from the river to the sea' but not OK for the Israelis to say the same?

Please let me state that I am a “Christian” – that is one who has entrusted his life to Jesus and who has experienced the death and resurrection necessary to now be a recipient of His life. I have a modified dispensational/premillennial view of the end times (which we’ve been in since the Apostles wrote that we are) and feel it’s defensible scripturally and historically.

The 12 tribes of Israel written about in the “Old Testament” scriptures constitute what I would characterize as “Israelites” which are also called “Jews” in the New Testament (2000 years ago in Jesus’ time as a God/Man walking the dusty paths of the “Holy Land” and attested to by biblical and non-biblical historic accounts). They were the audience and focus of Jesus ministry, as He Himself state repeatedly when approached by anyone else. He was a God/man born, under the law and sought to expose the impossibility of anyone attaining to right standing with God by keeping it, because keeping it was impossible and the law, as the Apostle Paul tells us, could not make a man righteous, and that through it, sin (in all its forms) increased. They could not see that all of the types, shadows and precursory forms and rituals, etc. were foreshadowing He who was the substance and reality come to call.

He presented Himself as the fulfillment of many Old Testament prophecies as the long-awaited Messiah, but was largely rejected by the Israelites/Jews of His day, who wanted someone to provide a political solution without tampering with their declining religious activities, traditions and beliefs (even His disciples asked if He was going to restore their kingdom at that time). He offered them Himself as the solution and became the once-for-all sacrificial lamb who had kept the law perfectly and who was without the lineage of Adam (being born of God’s Holy Spirit and a virgin woman in the line of Jewish descendants as foretold). His crucifixion at the hands of the religious Jewish leaders whom he had repeatedly condemned, criticized and ridiculed and the cries of the crowd for Him to be executed – and His statement that [their] house [was] left to you desolate. For I tell you, you will not see me again until you say, ‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord meant that He would only act in the role of Messiah when the entire nation of Israel chose to recognize Him and to acknowledge who He was/is.

His death, resurrection, ascension and now intercession and advocacy for those who entrust themselves to Him in faith and receive Him and His life in place of their own are comprised of converted Jews and GENTILES who were brought in through the ministry of Paul, formerly Saul, a Jewish Rabbinical authority who had overseen the murder of people of faith (aka “Christians”) and to whom was given the gospel of grace (which differed from the gospel of Jesus which was specific to recognizing and acknowledging Him as Messiah by the Jews, His primary focus before the cross). The “church” (ekklesia” in the greek not a building or a system but a group of people called out for a special purpose) became the focus of the redemptive work of Christ Jesus on the earth, pending the day that was predicted in the Old Testament (repeatedly) of the “time of Jacob’s Trouble” – a last 7 year period of history when the specific focus would shift from ingathering to the church to one last chance for Israel to embrace its Messiah – through difficulties, trials and punishments of global magnitude.

Uncannily, though corrupt scholars in the church history wished to eliminate the promises made by and ratified by God Himself (which means they weren’t dependent on humans to fulfill them, only God Himself) for a future time when He would gather together the faithful Jews (who recognize and acknowledge their Messiah) and usher in a time of their sharing in the rule over the earth (New Testament state for a period of 1,000 years) to be followed by final punishment of those rejecting God and then a new heavens and earth and it starts all over.

Of course, the evil one who has, from the time of the temptation of Adam and Even in the garden, been busily crafting false narratives and counterfeit schemes in place of the genuine and original ones authored by God…so there are false messiahs, false jews, and false Christians in these latter days. There are satanic/occult replications of the biblical ones, perverted and evil. There are belief systems and sacred writings that attempt to rival or discredit the genuine and there are those who are blind to the extent of the deceptions under which they’re living out their lives. Corruption and non-scriptural beliefs and practices are rampant in the institutional expressions of the church – but like the jews, there is a remnant of the faithful who are truly children of God and who can recognize the signs of the time. Unfortunately, so can the evil one who has created myths around the ability for false jews (Zionists who I do not believe are true Jews descended from Abraham, etc.) to “force”, by purposeful “fulfillment” of certain predictive scriptures, the results desired (that is jews gaining control of an ruling the earth) and to deceive nations into believing that a political nation state called Israel is indeed biblical Israel and capable of fulfilling these promises.

SO, the question becomes, what do we believe the solution is for these Israelis in name only who have a political state named Israel and supposedly populated by jews but who are committing blatant acts of genocide (in a repeated pattern over many decades and are using the scriptures as an excuse to asset their right to do so). As they did in other countries (like Nazi Germany) the Zionists are actually working to exterminate or replace genuine jews and to assume their place in history and to use that place to rule the world. Many of the globalists/elitists and world governing powers are in fact claiming to be (ashkenzi) jews and to have the power to do this and re proceeding rapidly.

As to the interim solution (for I believe no permanent solution will be found – this war, as you’ve pointed out, is intended to escalate into a world war and to further the depopulation agenda already in play, and to enable the ascension of demonic forces disguised as biblically authentic ones, to rise to power and influence (even more than they already do as evidenced by the massive support provided them carte blanche).

To quote another source,

The three-state alternative, whereby Gaza reverts to Egyptian control and the West Bank again becomes part of Jordan, has proven benefits.

We know this can succeed in stabilising the situation because it did so effectively from 1949 to 1967, when it was only upended by continuing interstate disputes between Israel and its Arab neighbours. In neither case was Egyptian and Jordanian control entirely free of coercive elements, so it is noteworthy that their rule provoked very little Palestinian resistance. They also acted effectively to limit armed attacks by Palestinian fighters on Israel.

Today, Israel has peace treaties with both neighbours and could negotiate the three-state option, unlike before, when it was carved out by territorial conquest. The costs of integrating Palestinian populations into the Arab states would be eased by hundreds of millions of dollars and euros in assistance from the US and the EU, which would pay handsomely to support any viable option.

Three states would end the Israeli occupation of the West Bank and Gaza, the most pressing challenge currently, and generate momentum to positive negotiations on the other core issues relating to the status of Jerusalem and the right of return for Palestinian refugees. The three-state option has a singular advantage over both two- and one-state alternatives: it’s been tried before, and it worked.

While I feel that we are being led down yet another “choose a side” dichotomy to entrap and ensnare and to distract and to entertain us while the lever of power complete their world dominating plans, a short-term solution that would render Hamas impotent and keep the nation state called Israel at bay for a time. I doubt that it can or will happen at all – unless enough people at the grass roots level awaken and sound the alarm that those in places of authority and power have betrayed us all and foisted a horrific ruse of immense proportions on all of us and must be stopped at any cost. Those who seek dominance do not care how many are killed (as long as they can reduce world population down to 500 million or so in the next few years). Their attack vectors are many, but at the center stage is this “holy War” undertaken to divide even further into factions, the entire world so we cannot united and fight them ourselves, were too lost in the minutiae of their well-woven (black) magical displays on every front.

An email comment from a friend who wants to keep his anonymity:

My views on the Israel Solution/Middle East are not researched nor extremely well informed; however, following are some of my thoughts:

1. For me, the largest aspect which is a root cause of the problem is the lack of communal responsibility by Arabic countries to accept Arabic refugees - "They were not born here". This aspect can also be seen in Dubai which will not allow any settlement of their country by those from outside of it/not born there. S former colleague of mine moved there from India to operate a business. They had no national status in Dubai. They could never acquire national status in Dubai, and they had to pay 30% of their gross earnings to the Dubai government who would then distribute these funds collected from all "outside" companies to the citizens of Dubai. It is a sort of "guaranteed income".

2. Based on #1, it would seem to be ok for the rest of the world to accept Arabic refugees. Canada being one of the largest acceptors (if not the largest). When the Syrian refugees came to Toronto (via Ottawa's "largess"), the City turned out all of the homeless in City-operated shelters and gave them one-way bus tickets elsewhere - with a great many coming to my city, as my city has a full range of shelters, food, clothing, and social services - both Regionally-operated and through volunteer groups. Mayor Tory said they did not do that. He was "not completely telling the truth". I have colleagues in the YM/YWCA in Toronto who can vouch for this, as they operated several shelters.

3. Why does Ontario need to build 1.5 million homes? Some because of citizen growth, but some/many because Trudeau upped the refugee (and immigrant) intake from 225,000 + 50,000 refugees per year - which has been in place since 1953 - to 500,000. Historically, 60% come to Toronto and now the GTHA. 5 years x 300,000/year ...

4. It was precisely why no country wanted to take all of the Jewish refugees after WW2 that the "Israel Solution" was developed and put into place. The rest, as they say, is "history".

This is just one perspective. I'm sure there are those who say the Jews are not blameless. Correct, but if you were surrounded by potentially/actual hostile nations, what would you do?

I find it somewhat hypocritical that nations who, themselves, had their "colonial period" will somehow chastise Israel for expanding its borders to ensure a defensible perimeter - and to accommodate the growth in citizenry. The Gaza situation is a result of all of the above: moral turpitude on behalf of Arabic countries and their response to Arabic refugees; Israeli expansion, and refugee citizenry growth.

Just my view, at this point.

Zork, what you describe is close to the original plan for British Mandatory Palestine. I don't know if you read my series of articles Israel in the Crosshairs where I explain the history.

I think you're right, Zork. The Palestinians have made themselves impossible for Israelis to live beside in peace. We saw that definitively on October 7th. In fact, as Joan Peters studiously documents in From Time Immemorial: The Origins of the Arab-Jewish conflict over Palestine, the Arabs forced Jews off their lands over and over again. Jewish refugees were common in this area. But they didn't claim to be refugees forever, or dream of getting their property back from the Arabs. They made a new life for themselves. The Palestinians could surely do likewise.

Dear Zork— your vision evokes such sadness. Too many are profiting from this horror of a conflict. And more ways than one. My husband and I offered COVID-19. In the global predators. We are the prey. I believe the globalists profit from every single kind of division they can create In this world. I believe the event itself is engineered and incited, and then the passions and the horror and the anger that it creates Is used to foment further division, and hate since October 7. I’ve seen so much more of a latent kinds of anti-Semitism that I am shocked. I really like the humanity of your idea for both the Israelis and the Palestinians. And for the rest of the world, we can’t afford to keep hating.

Convincing the Palestinians to leave would be the easy part, given how horrible life has gotten for them. Getting someone to open their doors for them would be the hard part, and I quite simply do not see it happening. No-one wants the Palestinians. And, as you said yourself, the Arabs of the region do not want a Jewish state there. I don't see that changing. In the end, the problem will be "solved" (if you want to call that a solution) via a Jewish exodus from the region. Getting a few countries to accept Jewish refugees (I'm looking at you, Canada) would be significantly easier than getting anyone to take in the Palestinians. At least for now. That might change as Israel's reputation takes a nosedive. Even then, though - there's some serious human capital in Israel, worth importing if you get a chance.

It is a very good point and I was considering it myself, but then I dropped it for the following reasons:

It cannot be done peacefully

It would be far more expensive than buying out the 'Palestinians'

The very point of the Jewish state is not to live as second-class citizens ever again

They have the deepest roots in that land, and I mean deeper than either the Muslims or the Christians.

I believe that Israel would make peace with most of its neighbours eventually if it didn't have to deal with internal muslim problem. There were even speculations, that Hamas attacked now, because Israel was getting very cozy with the Arab states and they were afraid of becoming irrelevant

Expand full comment

Oh, I don't expect it to happen peacefully. I used scare quotes for "solved" because I don't really see it as a solution, properly speaking. I simply see it as the most likely endgame. By far the most likely. The only question is: how many people will die in the process?
